With all of the options listed above it may seem overwhelming to decide where to eat at Magic Kingdom. Below are our expert recommendations.
- Best Overall Table Service: Cinderella’s Royal Table
- You really can’t beat the experience of eating inside Cinderella’s Castle at the Magic Kingdom and the menu offerings are some of the best on property. While this is a Character Dining location, it’s one that adult-only parties will still feel comfortable enjoying due to the upscale atmosphere and menu.
- Best Value Table Service: The Plaza Restaurant
- The Plaza Restaurant is the least expensive Table Service option at Magic Kingdom but still provides an excellent dining experience. We recommend requesting a table by the window for some great people watching!
- Most Instagram Worthy Table Service: Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen
- If you’re looking for the best spot to snap some pictures and have a delicious meal, head to Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen (often referred to just as Skipper Canteen). The dining rooms have lots of details to explore an each dish is a work of art in itself. Add in the dry-humored Cast Members and you bound to have a great time.
- Best Table Service for Picky Eaters: The Plaza Restaurant
- While most Disney restaurants have a wide variety, The Plaza Restaurant stands out as a great option for picky eaters due to the more “basic” options and expansive menu.
- Best Overall Quick Service: Columbia Harbour House
- Columbia Harbour House’s menu has some of the more common Quick Service options but then also has options that you might not expect, like a Lobster Roll and shrimp salad. The menu pairs well with the theming of the location and has ample seating in the two-story building making it a far less stressful dining experience at peak meal times.
- Best Value Quick Service: Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn
- If you’re looking to have a heartier meal at a Quick Service location, we recommend Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn. This Tex-Mex inspired menu has great “Make Your Own” offerings that are reasonably priced and keep you full much longer than other meals.
- Most Instagram Worthy Quick Service: Casey’s Corner
- If you didn’t have a Casey’s hot dog or corn dog nuggets on the grass in front of Cinderella’s Castle, did you even go to Walt Disney World? Not only are there some tasty options at Casey’s Corner but the backdrop of Cinderella’s Castle means you’ll get some exceptional food pics for the gram.

Food Allergies at Disney
Walt Disney World is one of the most allergy-friendly vacation destinations in the world. Whether you or a family member have a food allergy or dietary restriction, Disney goes above and beyond to make sure everyone can enjoy a safe and delicious dining experience.
What Disney Does for Guests with Food Allergies
- Ingredient Transparency: Cast Members are trained to help answer ingredient questions, and chefs can often provide a full ingredient list for menu items upon request.
- Allergy-Friendly Menus: Most quick-service and table-service restaurants across the parks and resorts offer allergy-friendly menus that highlight options free from common allergens like gluten, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, soy, fish, and shellfish.
- Special Diet Requests: At table-service restaurants, you can request to speak with a chef or specially trained Cast Member to discuss your specific needs. They’re knowledgeable, attentive, and often able to customize meals just for you.
- Dedicated Preparation Areas: Disney takes cross-contamination seriously. Allergy-friendly meals are prepared in dedicated kitchen areas using separate equipment when needed.
- Mobile Order Allergy Options: Select quick-service restaurants in the My Disney Experience app allow you to order allergy-friendly meals through mobile order. Look for the “Allergy-Friendly” option when customizing your meal.
Tips for Handling Food Allergies During Your Trip
- Note Allergies on Reservations: When making a table-service reservation online or via the app, there’s a section to indicate food allergies. Be sure to list them so the restaurant is prepared. When you arrive at the restaurant, be sure the host notes there is an allergy in the party before you are seated. If they don’t be sure to mention all allergies.
- Speak Up at Quick-Service Locations: Even if you’re using mobile order, you can ask to speak with a Cast Member or even the Chef if you’re unsure about ingredients or preparation practices.
- Bring Allergy Cards: If you have multiple allergies or prefer clear communication, consider bringing printed allergy cards that list your dietary restrictions. Disney chefs are used to reviewing these.
- Use Allergy-Safe Snacks: While Disney is great with meals, it’s still a good idea to bring your own pre-packaged allergy-safe snacks—especially for little ones or if you have very specific needs.
- Visit the First Aid Centers: If you need medical assistance or a cool, quiet place to manage a reaction, First Aid Centers in each park are well-equipped and staffed by professionals.
- Look for Dedicated Allergy-Safe Brands: Some snacks sold in the parks, like Enjoy Life products, are free from common allergens and clearly labeled.
