How Do I Get a MagicBand?
While MagicBands were once complimentary for Disney Resort hotel Guests, they now must be purchased separately. Here’s how you can get one:
- Before Your Visit (Walt Disney World only): Purchase your MagicBand at least 11 days before your arrival to have it shipped to your home. The best part? You’ll get your MagicBands at a discounted rate when you buy them in advance! Your MagicBands will be automatically linked once you receive them so all you have to do is remember to pack them! Follow the below steps:
- Visit disneyworld.disney.go.com/plan
- Scroll down to “Unlock the Magic with MagicBands” and click “Please make your selections”
- You will see a list of each member of your travel party. Under each member’s name, click “Select”
- Select the MagicBand for each member of your travel party.
- Once you’ve selected MagicBands for all members of your party, click “Proceed to Checkout”
- At DisneyStore.com (Best option for Disneyland): MagicBands can be purchased online at DisneyStore.com and will be delivered right to your home. Once received, you’ll need to manually link the band to your account by entering the ID number located inside the band through the “My MagicBands and Cards” section of your account.
- At the Parks: If you’re already at the parks, you can purchase a MagicBand on-site at most merchandise locations. You’ll need to manually link the band to your account by entering the ID number located inside the band through the “My MagicBands and Cards” section of your account.
