What is the Festival of the Arts?

The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is an annual festival that takes place on certain dates throughout January and February. The festival celebrates the creation of art and cuisine and spans the entire park, with special food, merchandise, entertainment, and offerings. Admission to the festival is included with your Disney park ticket and many offerings are complimentary. There are some offerings that may have an additional cost/require additional reservations.

When is EPCOT International Festival of the Arts?

The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is an annual festival that runs from mid January through late February. The 2026 Festival of the Arts runs from January 16 through February 23 and access to festival offerings is included with your park ticket.

What to Expect at the Festival of the Arts

Visitors to the Festival of the Arts can look forward to a vibrant celebration of creativity in all its forms. From visually stunning art installations and engaging live performances to mouthwatering culinary creations, the festival offers something for everyone. Families, art lovers, and Disney fans can immerse themselves in interactive experiences like the paint-by-numbers mural, catch Broadway-caliber shows, and savor dishes that are as beautiful as they are delicious. Every corner of EPCOT bursts with inspiration, making it a can’t-miss event for the season.

When you enter the park, be sure to grab a Festival Passport. The passport will include a listing of all offerings as well as times and locations of offerings that take place during the day.

Festival of the Arts Experiences

EPCOT’s World Showcase transforms into a living art gallery, with stunning displays and interactive opportunities including:

  • Animation Academy: Learn how to draw a Disney Character at the America Gardens Theatre at 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM daily with the guidance of featured artists including:

  • Once Upon A Stage: The Magic of DISNEY ON BROADWAY: Learn about the magic and artistry of DISNEY ON BROADWAY in this brand new exhibit at CommuniCore Hall. The exhibit is open from 9 AM to 9 PM daily.
  • Express Section Paint by Number Mural: Join fellow guests in completing a giant paint-by-numbers mural, creating a collaborative work of art. The Expression Section booth is open from 11 AM to 5 PM daily and is located on the walkway between World Showcase and the Imagination! Pavilion.
  • Scavenger Hunt: Figment’s Brush with the Masters: Purchase a map and stickers ($11.99 plus tax) at the Port of Entry, Creations Shop or World Traveler and search for Figment hiding in famous works of art in each World showcase pavilion. Each time you find Figment in the piece of art, place the corresponding sticker on the map. Return the completed map to Port of Entry, Creations Shop, or World Travelers for a prize! 
  • Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game: Take part in two fun adventures around the festival with the hit trading card game. To participate in both of the offers pick up your complimentary Festival Questbook on the bridge to World Showcase and follow the instructions to complete the activities. Upon completion, pick up your Magical Places promo cards from the Illumnieer’s Lounge in the Morocco Pavilion or from Figment’s Inspiration Station at The Odyssey.
    • Collection Quest: Open Disney Lorcana booster packs and trade cards with other Guests in the Illumineer’s Lounge in the Morocco Pavilion. Once you’ve collected your 4 cards, you’ll receive a limited-edition Magical Places promo card.
    • Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt: Discover magical, larger-than- life trading cards scattered throughout EPCOT. Find cards, match them to the special ink stickers on your map and you’ll receive an additional limited-edition Magical Places promo card.
  • Meet Visual Artists at the Artist Galleries: Throughout the park, you will see merchandise tents where you can meet and get signed art from visual artists. View the schedule of artists here
  • Artful Photo Ops: Step into an artistic backdrop and become part of a masterpiece! PhotoPass photographers will be on hand to snap your photo.
    • International Gateway: Luncheon of the Boating Party – Pierre-Auguste Renoir
    • The American Adventure Pavilion: Washington Crossing the Delaware – Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze
    • Between Italy Pavilion and Germany Pavilion: Mona Lisa – Leonardo da Vinci
    • Between Italy Pavilion and Germany Pavilion: The Scream – Edvard Munch
    • Bridge to World Showcase: Tea time with penguin scene from “Mary Poppins”
    • Bridge to World Showcase: Forest scene from “Sleeping Beauty”
    • Bridge to World Showcase: A Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game photo op, featuring a scene from Fabled – one of the most recent Disney Lorcana sets
  • Chalk Full of Character: Keep an eye out for chalk drawings of Disney characters throughout World Showcase. 
  • Chalk Art Galleries: Marvel at intricate chalk masterpieces on the bridge to World Showcase Plaza, and watch artists bring their visions to life in real-time.
  • Kids Chalk Art: Kids can create their very own chalk-art masterpiece in World Celebration near the Imagination! Pavilion from 11 AM to 5 PM daily.
  • Visual Art in Performance: Watch artists paint Disney characters in minutes at CommuniCore Plaza. Check the My Disney Experience app for showtimes.
  • Music Performances: Check the My Disney Experience app for showtimes for daily musical performances at CommuniCore Plaza.

DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series

Each evening during the Festival of the Arts, experience the magic of DISNEY ON BROADWAY at the America Gardens Theatre at the American Adventure Pavilion through the Festival Concert Series. Performances are offered three times each evening at 5:30 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8 PM.

DISNEY ON BROADWAY Dining Package

If you’d like to skip the standby line, you can consider booking a DISNEY ON BROADWAY Dining Package. The dining package is available at select restaurants in EPCOT and includes a meal and reserved seating at the performance.

To reserve the DISNEY ON BROADWAY Dining Package, log onto your My Disney Experience account and reserve through the dining section of the app/website. Dining reservations may be made up to 60 days in advance. Festival of the Arts Food Studios

The Festival of the Arts includes food studios that span across EPCOT with special offerings. Be sure to grab the Festival Passport for information about food offerings, including allergy friendly options. You can also complete the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine, featuring 5 vibrant dishes. Purchase 5 artistic dishes (noted in the Festival Passport) and ask for a stamp at each location. Once you’ve completed the “Walk,” bring your passport to Deco Delights for a reward!
