Oogie Boogie Bash General Info
Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween Party is a special ticketed nighttime event that takes place on select evenings during August, September, and October. The party runs from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and ticket holders will be admitted to Disney California Adventure park as early as 3:00 PM on the valid date of their ticket. These date-specific event tickets do not require an additional day theme park ticket or theme park reservation.
Pro Tip: Take advantage of the extra time in the park to have dinner before the party starts. There will be lots to do once the party officially kicks off at 6 PM and taking time out for dinner may not be the best use of your time!

Dressing Up
It wouldn’t be a Halloween party without costumes! Guests are welcome to wear costumes, but Disney does have specific guidelines to ensure safety.
For Guests 13 and under:
Costumes and some masks may be worn, as long the mask does not cover the entire face and eyes are visible.
For Guests 14 Years of Age or Older:
Costumes may be worn according to these guidelines. Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into, and/or removed from Disney parks, unless his or her costume can be modified to meet the above standards:
- Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist.
- Themed T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts and hats are acceptable.
- Acceptable accessories include: transparent wings, plastic Lightsabers, toy swords and tutus.
- Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face.
- Masks of any kind may not be worn, except for medical purposes.
Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into, and/or removed from, the event, unless his or her costume can be modified to meet the above standards. While we encourage creativity, we also value safety and good judgment. Party Entertainment
Throughout the party, you will get to experience party-exclusive entertainment including a fan-favorite parade.
Frightfully Fun Parade
- Time: 7:45 PM and 10:00 PM
- Parade Route: Paradise Gardens Park to Hollywood Blvd
- NOTE: The Headless Horseman will ride the parade route 10 minutes before the start of the parade
We recommend getting a spot at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the parade to ensure good viewing and watching the second parade for lower crowd levels.
If you want to upgrade your viewing experience, consider booking the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party. The dessert party includes:
- A delicious selection of desserts
- Reserved seating in one of the Frightfully Fun Parade preferred viewing areas
- An alcoholic beverage for adults, ages 21 and older, with a valid form of government identification.
- Unlimited soft drinks and bottled water, plus coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a mocktail
Advanced reservations are highly recommended and can be made through your Disneyland app beginning 60 days prior to your requested reservation.

- Time: Dusk to closing
- Frollo’s Sanctuary: Explore an otherworldly cathedral of trees infused with incense and chanting voices.
- Maleficent’s Will: Roam through a region filled with ravens, vines, and spellbound waterfalls.
- Queen of Hearts Garden: Wander through a garden of roses that paint themselves red.
- Scar’s Elephant Graveyard: Explore a vast expanse with echoing hyena laughter.
- Dr. Facilier’s Friends on the Other Side: Be lured into the grove’s deepest corners by shadowy hands and colorful spells.
- The Wicked Queen’s Lightning Forest: Watch as an electrifying storm hits the forest.

Select characters are out during the party to greet guests throughout the park. Lines do get long, so we recommend prioritizing your “must meet” characters and considering going to the second parade so you can take advantage of lower wait times during the first parade, which draws more guests.
