Where is Epic Universe located?

Universal Epic Universe is located in Orlando, Florida, about 2 miles south of the current Universal Orlando Resort. The new theme park is being built on a separate 750-acre site near the intersection of Sand Lake Road and Kirkman Road, close to the Orange County Convention Center.

Guests will be able to travel to Universal Epic Universe using multiple transportation options. Universal is building a dedicated road extension, the Kirkman Road Connector, to provide direct access between Universal Orlando Resort and Epic Universe, making it easy for guests to move between the parks.

Here’s how guests can get to Epic Universe:

  • Universal Shuttle Buses – Just like the existing transportation at Universal Orlando, shuttle buses will run between Epic Universe, the Universal Orlando Resort parking structure, and the on-site hotels.
  • Personal Vehicles & Rideshares – Epic Universe will have its own dedicated parking areas for guests driving themselves or using services like Uber and Lyft.

These tickets provide access to multiple Universal Orlando Resort parks over several days, with one dedicated day at Epic Universe. Options include:

  • 2 Parks One Park Per Day, PLUS Universal Epic Universe: Enjoy one park per day at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, and 1 separate day at Epic Universe.
  • 3 Parks One Park Per Day, PLUS Universal Epic Universe: Enjoy one park per day access at Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay, and 1 separate day at Epic Universe.
  • 2 Parks Park-to-Park, PLUS Universal Epic Universe: Move freely between Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, and 1 separate day at Epic Universe.
  • 3 Parks Park-to-Park, PLUS Universal Epic Universe: Move freely between Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay, and 1 separate day at Epic Universe.

Hotels Near Epic Universe

Universal Orlando Resort is expanding its accommodations offerings with three new hotels adjacent to Universal Epic Universe: Universal Helios Grand Hotel, Universal Stella Nova Resort, and Universal Terra Luna Resort. All three hotels are strategically located to provide seamless access to Universal Epic Universe while offering a range of accommodations to suit different budgets and preferences. Whether guests are looking for luxury at Helios Grand or a more budget-friendly yet immersive experience at Stella Nova or Terra Luna, these hotels will offer exclusive perks, stunning design, and prime access to Universal’s biggest theme park expansion yet.

Universal Helios Grand Hotel

Universal Helios Grand Hotel will be the most luxurious of the three, offering a refined Mediterranean-inspired ambiance. Set to open on May 22, 2025, this Signature Collection hotel will feature 500 elegantly designed rooms, exclusive dining options, and stunning panoramic views of Epic Universe. Guests staying at Helios Grand will enjoy a dedicated park entrance, making it the closest hotel to the action, while also providing a serene retreat after a day of adventure.

Universal Stella Nova Resort

Universal Stella Nova Resort, a Prime Value hotel, opened its doors on January 21, 2025. Inspired by the vastness of space, this 750-room resort immerses guests in a cosmic atmosphere, featuring futuristic design elements and celestial-themed décor. Guests can relax at the 10,000-square-foot heated swimming pool, enjoy themed cocktails at The Galaxy Bar, and take advantage of complimentary shuttle service to all Universal Orlando theme parks. As with all Universal hotels, guests will also receive early park admission to Epic Universe, allowing them to experience attractions before the general public.

Universal Terra Luna Resort

Another Prime Value option, Universal Terra Luna Resort, offers a unique design inspired by terrestrial landscapes, blending natural elements with celestial patterns and constellations. With 750 rooms, Terra Luna is the sister resort of Stella Nova and offers the same benefits, including complimentary transportation throughout the resort and early park admission. The resort offers guest a zero-entry pool with a hot tub, the chic lobby bar, Luna Bar, and a quick service restaurant for convenience when you come back after a park day.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic will transport guests into the grandeur and mystery of the wizarding government, blending elements from both Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts. Power-Up Bands

Power-Up Bands are interactive wristbands designed to enhance the immersive experience at Super Nintendo World in Universal Epic Universe and Universal Studios Hollywood. These wearable devices sync with the Universal Studios app, allowing guests to track their progress, collect digital coins, and interact with various elements throughout the land, just like in a real-life Super Mario game.

With Power-Up Bands, guests can participate in interactive challenges and compete against friends in fun mini-games. The bands also enable access to Key Challenges, where players must complete tasks to earn keys and unlock a final battle with Bowser Jr. Available in six character-themed designs—Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Yoshi, and Toad—these bands not only function as a game-enhancing tool but also serve as a fun souvenir.

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

Inspired by the beloved How to Train Your Dragon film series, this immersive land will allow guests to experience the stunning landscapes of Isle of Berk, where dragons and humans coexist in harmony. Dark Universe

Dark Universe will be a thrilling and spine-chilling land dedicated to the iconic Universal Monsters—the legendary creatures that have haunted audiences for decades.
